  • Agriculture in the Classroom... is a grassroots program coordinated by the United States Department of Agriculture. Its goal is to help students gain a greater awareness of the role of agriculture in the economy and society, so that they may become citizens who support wise agricultural policies.

  • Society of Wine Educators... is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to furthering knowledge of wine among wine educators, consumers, and all levels of the wine trade - a hub of the vast network of wine learning that encompasses everyone who writes, reads, or talks about wine, and those who produce, sell, or drink wine.

  • American Wine Alliance for Research and Education... is dedicated to providing a balanced view of beverage alcohol's role in society with respect to alcohol and health-related issues through the dissemination of scientific research information and the development of educational programs for health professionals, and to providing an international resource center on alcohol and health issues.

  • The Origins & Ancient History of Wine... an outstanding history of wine, presented by Univ of Pennsylvania's Museum of Archeology & Anthropology.

  • History of Wine - From Italy... an interesting history of wine, presented by an Italian web site, Vini Lazio.

  • National Agriculture Library... is one of four national libraries of the United States, with locations in Beltsville, Maryland and Washington, D.C. It houses one of the world's largest and most accessible agricultural information collections and serves as the nexus for a national network of state land-grant and U.S. Department of Agriculture field libraries.

  • Napa Valley Wine Library... was established in 1963 and is devoted to sharing and preserving information about viticulture, enology, and wine lore, particularly concerning the Napa Valley.

  • Sonoma County Wine Library... is a special service and collection of the Sonoma County Library, the collection comprising 5,000 books on wine and related subjects, subscriptions and backfiles to over 80 wine-related periodicals.

  • Calif Dept of Food & Agriculture KIDS PAGE... is a delightful resource filled with interesting agriculture information and delivered in a format appropriate for children.

  • Vincent C. Petrucci Library at Cal State Fresno... collects information on the subjects of viticulture and enology, and provides the materials, services, and facility necessary to meet current and future information needs of CSF students, faculty, staff, and industry. Special emphasis is placed on offering viticulture and enology materials, reference materials and services.

  • UC-Davis' Shield Library Collection on Viticulture & Enology... is home to one of the finest collections of grape growing and wine making literature in the world.

  • UC-Davis' Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education Program... provides leadership and support for scientific research and education in agricultural and food systems that are economically viable, conserve natural resources and biodiversity, and enhance the quality of life in the state's communities. SAREP serves farmers, farmworkers, ranchers, researchers, educators, regulators, policy makers, industry professionals, consumers, and community organizations across the state.

  • Congressional Wine Caucus... brings together 250 members of Congress from all 50 states to educate and engage them in legislative and regulatory matters pertaining to wine issues.

  • Wine Market Council... is a non-profit association of grape growers, wine producers, importers, wholesalers, and other affiliated businesses and organizations. The council's mission is to establish the widespread acceptance of wine as a rewarding part of American culture.

  • Institute of Wine & Spirituality... is a Community of People attracted to Wine and its Spiritual Dimension who recognize wine as a catalyst to connecting to our own nature, value taking the time to connect with self and others, cherish balance in the many facets of our lives, and respect the magic and mystery of wine, a partnership of nature and people.

  • San Diego Amateur Winemaking Society... organized to foster a general interest in wines and to give Society members a means of exchanging information on winemaking methods, materials and equipment.
