Like most of the business world, my daily routine tends to be fast-paced, chaotic, and unpredictable. As a result, it is not always easy to locate me. I do, however, work very hard at being responsibly accessible. Should you wish to communicate with me, the best way to do so is via email. To effectively manage my vibrant and ever-changing calendar, and to successfully balance the demands of teaching, research, college and university service, student advising, and community outreach; it is imperative I employ strict time management practices, adhere to precise schedules, stringently manage meetings, and plan well in advance. This "contact" page is a reflection of my commitments to accessibility and productivity.

EMAIL: I unfailingly check my email each weekday at 4pm (except when travelng in places without internet access). It typically takes me 3-4 hours to sort through the roughly 2,500 daily email messages in my electronic mail box (nearly 10,000 accumulate over the weekend), and respond to the few that warrant a response. My SFSU email address is meeks@sfsu.edu, and I use it for most of my general communication.

PHONE: I check my phone messages once a day, typically at 3am. I usually return phone calls within one week.

FAX: My fax line is 415-358-4026. It is electronically linked to my email so all faxes are immediately forwarded to me as email attachments.

PAPER MAIL: I check my paper mail (sfsu main campus and downtown campus mailboxes) about once a week so if you send me a something via the US Postal Service, I'll typically receive it in 7-14 days (except when I'm traveling).
